  1. I think the most interesting thing is the perspective that the target is a high security environment. This would require a different perspective than just showing the basic steps of a pen test.

  2. well actually i feel like from this going to discover lots new things since the security here seems different from what i’m used to. And i’m so interested onto the advanced technique to bypass the security and remain hidden during the test…

  3. I like books that take the time to setup actual lab of there own walk the reader to actual exercises – i see Kioptrix and Mutillidae are the victims here so i am glad

  4. for me, the interesting thing is to build a high secure Lab like in the real world. And the step by step guide for an penTest Report….

  5. Looks nice, a copy of an extra security book would be nice :)

  6. As an computer science student I am quite interested in that book because I am trying to build a functional penetration testing lab at our university here. It should offer other students the possibility to learn more about security (learn attacking to learn defence). I think every chapter of that book would be a great help (especially chapter 4 with the kioptrix lab) :)

  7. For me it is last years in university and I need to make final project. This book would be very useful for me, because I want to make a research of remote exploitation. Other books is kinda old, so this book is very helpful for doing it.

  8. Reading the description, the book strikes me as interestingly comprehensive. Backing up the ideas and theory of internet security with actual practical examples and the corresponding know-how. Apparently even teaching to practice it in an organized, professional manner on top of that. I like clever books like this, such versatility is hard to come by!
